Honley Male Voice Choir would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Harvest Home Auction such a fantastic success. Held at the Traveller’s Rest on Saturday 3 October, the evening brought together choir members, friends, and supporters for a wonderful night of community spirit and generosity, raising an impressive £1,133 for the choir.
A special thank you goes to Martin Mellor, whose humour, enthusiasm, and expert auctioneering kept the bidding lively throughout the evening. His contribution played a major part in making the event both entertaining and successful.
The choir is also deeply grateful to everyone who donated items and experiences, and to those who attended and bid so generously. The incredible support shown throughout the evening reflected the strong sense of community that continues to surround and support the choir.
We would also like to thank the Traveller’s Rest for their warm hospitality, along with the members and volunteers who worked hard behind the scenes to organise the event. To everyone who donated, volunteered, attended, or placed a bid, thank you for helping to make the evening such a memorable occasion and for supporting the choir’s future.
