Honley MVC members traded singing for speed as they headed to Wakefield Indoor Karting on 27 February 2026 for an afternoon of fast laps, friendly rivalry, and plenty of laughs.
After the initial challenge of squeezing into the racing overalls, the group hit the track for warm‑up laps before the competitive spirit took over. With no‑bumping rules in force and blue flags keeping things orderly, the racing stayed clean but fiercely contested.

Post‑race celebrations continued at The Black Bull in Midgley, where stories of heroic overtakes were shared. Huge thanks to David Rhodes for organising a brilliant outing that blended camaraderie and competition. The verdict from the group was unanimous – We’ll be back next year.
