Honley MVC members enjoyed another fantastic Archery Afternoon on Friday 30 October, with plenty of laughs, friendly competition and no injuries to report!
The day’s standout performer was Robert Smith, our very own “Robin of Honley”, who shot his way to the title of 2026 Archery Champion. Chris Roberts and John Shaw were worthy runners-up. Congratulations, Robert!
A huge thank you to Valley Bowmen of Huddersfield for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The day was rounded off with a warm welcome at The Allied and an excellent meal at Zamorins, where great food and service were very much appreciated.
As always, what made the day special wasn’t just the archery, but the friendship, banter and camaraderie shared throughout.
Thanks to all who took part and made it another memorable Honley MVC outing!
