Now’s your chance! \n\n\n\nJoin Honley MVC Musical Director Steven Roberts for a friendly\, supportive six‑week programme designed to help you Find Your Voice\, learn to sing with others\, and explore the basics of music reading. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re thinking about joining our welcoming choir or simply want to enjoy a one‑off musical experience\, you’re very welcome. There’s no pressure and no prior experience needed.  \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect – Guided vocal warm‑ups and singing techniques. Singing together in a relaxed group setting. An introduction to reading music. A chance to discover the joy of choral singing. \n\n\n\nThis is a FREE\, no‑obligation series of workshops. \n\n\n\nThe 2026 dates are on Tuesdays September 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, 29 and October 6. Sessions will run from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at St Paul’s Church\, Armitage Road\, Armitage Bridge\, Huddersfield HD4 7PD. \n\n\n\nAfter each session\, you’re welcome to stay and listen to the choir rehearse and chat with some of our members\, entirely optional\, of course. \n\n\n\nFeel free to simply turn up on the night\, but if you’d like to register your interest or receive more details\, email us at joinus@honleymvc.co.uk
